Completely and utterly not visible. I be the hiding genius, me -hehehe - she is soooo fooled..think like a beet leaf, BE the beet leaf . I cannot be seen. "
We are all, including the cat, recovering from recent 40 degree days of heat, and rains today are helping to quell bushfires at the top of Spencer Gulf around Wilmington, Nectar Brook, and Spear Creek areas in which I lived worked and played in my mid-twenties. The volunteer firefighters are doing a fantastic job, with the help of arial sprays and now the rain.

Heehee! Yes, think like a beet leaf, Be the beet leaf. You will therefore become invisible. What a sweet looking garden friend you have.
Best wishes to the firefighters. I'm wondering WHERE the cold weather has gone??? We are spring-time warm here when we should be up to our eyes in snow.
Isn't it funny how the cat often forgets to hide his tale when playing hide and seek.
One's got to love them.
We've seen on telli about those frightening fires. Hope they are soon dealt with.
Fires scare me more than storm and flood put together.
Haha cute as a button. 40 is a bit over the top but seriously, we've barely seen that blue stuff that's supposed to be above us. I'm back at work tomorrow so yes, that's when it'll show it's true colours.
Beautiful rain doing it's good work! lovely cat!
Up here in the north we tend to forget that there are places where January means draughts and fires, not cold, rain and snow. I hope it doesn't get as bad for you as last year.
Thank you for the nice comment!
Like a small child hiding behind their fingers knowing that we can no longer see them!
Hurrah for your rain!
And hurrah for no snow here.
Oh what a laugh this elicited. Smart kitty is not so smart (or sneaky for that matter) after all.
Sweet cat photos! I wasn't sure at first from just the tail . . . thought it might be some strange creature unknown to our part of the world. :)
Sorry to hear about the fires. I hope the rains help and the weather returns to "normal".
Haha - love that cat trick.
Glad you folks are getting rain, and that the firefighters are on the job - sending energy their way...
