More than 1000 homes throughout the Riverland and north of the state are without power following overnight thunderstorms, captured so well here by photographer David Ellem.93,000 lightening strikes have been recorded as thunderstorms swept across the state. How dramatic, and well...electrifying!!

That is a flabbergasting photo. Think that storm has anything to do with the huge asteroid that is SUPPOSED to just do a flyby of earth?
It's such weird weather, more like February without the heat. Big winds and storms here as well but nothing quite that damaging. Really great photograph.
