Just beautiful. I love these Eco-houses, always have, and yes I know it's no-flush composting toilet territory but I'd deal with it.... Embrace the ethos, the concept, the ...oh, will you look at that!....
.
I can imagine my 100% natural cotton granny nickers drying gently in the morning sun here while I look out the window for blackbirds- though I've not succumbed to big fat granny bloomers -yet - perish the thought. I come from a long line of high waisted granny- huge bloomers women and I think we baby-boomers have decided to break the pattern don't you? - along with those white singlets, always flapping on the clotheslines of our childhood.
I think there's even a few funny family photos where my mother-in-law is chortling along with the family in the back yard, huge bloomers flapping gaily on the clothesline in the background.

Oh my....*sigh*
Photos from "A Low Impact Woodland House" .
In Wales. Another big sigh. They say the grass is greener etc., but surely more so if its actually growing on the roof.

What an amazingly beautiful house. Guess they don't have mosquitoes in Wales. ;-) Found your site via Susan's Blog at 29Blackstreet in Nova Scotia.

I'll be back.

Best wishes

Oh yes!!! Love these houses and could live a happy Hobbit life in one.Granny knickers; I remember those flapping on the line.Have to confess when I had my hernia op my daughter and partner went off to buy me something comfortable and came back with lacy, bow-encrusted neo-granny knickers. They apparently had an hilarious time choosing although it seemed an important rite of passage for me!

Ha! Might work in Wales but the Huntsmen would love it in Sydney!

True, and would maybe find the occasional coiled snake in the washing basket, but sharks wouldn't be a problem Helen!

I love this house! A Hobbit house for sure. So funny that you would focus on the granny panties. :-)
