Willow from Willow Manor has invited us to stretch our imaginations in wonderful ways and enter the world where anything can happen.
Her purpose is to celebrate something at the Manor in its fourth year now.
Details will become more obvious as we begin... so here we go...
.I'd travelled from Australia to eventually wind up in Altoona Pennsylvania. Just wanted to find somewhere for a coffee and was intrigued by a VW big bus outside. Inside there was much excitement. Who should be inside but the Fab Four, yes the Beatles. I was star-struck, but really, this woman went overboard with the black marker she'd nabbed from under the menu board. A bit over the top I thought...she really was quite hysterical.
The boys eventually left asking where they might purchase shoes and ties. I had no idea, telling them I wasn't local, but from Australia. After telling me negotiations were underway to perform in Australia, they asked if I'd like to join them on the bus journey to The Willow Manor Ball and attend with them. How could I refuse...but what to wear!

I had after all heard all about this ball - hasn't everybody. I rushed into the nearest boutique to find something...John very patiently waited for me outside the shop...
Although beside myself with excitement, very practically I chose something that would travel well, not crease, and be easy to manage...just pop it on - zip it up - no time to look for shoes though, will just have to dance in my bare feet. George, Ringo, Paul and John hurried me on, explaining that due to mechanical problems with the bus they thought they'd be too late to play. After spending all that money on the dress, I wanted to wear it!
We arrived in time. In fact early. Willow greeted us wearing the most divine creation I'd ever seen and showed us to the ballroom where everything would soon be happening...

The boys were stunned and amazed- with Willow, the venue, everything - as the guest of the Beatles, I too, was treated like royalty....
Wow. To find out more about the night visit Willow at http://willowmanor.blogspot.com. This is the fourth Annual Willow Manor Ball - the food is divine, the dancing outrageously sublime, and the guests head-swivelling. See you there? Please pay the Manor a visit, where you will find the photos of her wonderful dress, her ballroom above, and so very much more!!

I LOVE the stretch VW bus!! You look marvelous, daahling...it's so good to see you again, Pam...
Yes, a perfect escort for you and the Beatles. It was so great seeing them altogether again too - what a team. They never should have split up. And I agree that Tess's dress is divine, but yours isn't anything to sneeze at either, darlin'. Cheers to the bubbly!
Marvellous, stunning gown and four escorts!!!!
I think you arrived in a fabulous party bus, that's for sure! Paul McCartney charmed me on the dance floor and I really think you are one lucky lady to have all four as your date! Many a girls fantasy, you know!?
You had all kinds of adventures just GETTING to the ball. How many women are lucky enough to travel with the Beatles? Hope you have a wonderful time.
Pam, you are making a delightful entrance in that gorgeous dress. Imagine John & Arlo wandering around the manor. You & Reya had better hold on to those guys.
