Woke this morning to the most glorious Spring day!Sun shining at last...flowers blooming everywhere around the home...the flowers waiting for the bees to visit...Finally it feels like Spring has arrived......daisies are out..Missie Begonia is in fine form...Makes a person (or little creature)want to come out of their house and celebrate...and think, "I was over that cold season, bring on the warmth..." says Mowsie, who in mouse years is getting on...Another person who had a soft heart for little creatures...
(painting by Mark Sanislo)
Yesterday was the Feast Day of Saint Francis. Don't think he was too keen on steel-sprung mouse traps either.
My plastic non-violent one is out on loan yet again. Word gets around. I think it would have done a roaring trade in the monastary kitchen had it been invented.

Your spring photos were SO welcome. We have our first snow. I am not looking forward to slick roads, scraping ice from windows and long dark nights. I will try to be positive and think of the fun of playing in the fluffy stuff.

As you welcome your Spring, Pam, I am welcome our Fall with such great relief. The heat said good-bye to us in a big way but now we are definitely into our Fall season.

Thank you for following my journal. All comments and support gratefully accepted. I'm on day two and feeling strong.

St. Francis, by the way, ROCKS.

you are having beautiful spring sunshine and we are having beautiful autumn sunshine with a hint of coolness in the air as the leaves begin to change color.

What beautiful flowers! And the mouse is so cute - and very tame!

Hi Pam!! Wow, your flowers are gorgeous! We over here in the States are now finally enjoying the colors of fall. I love fall. The leaves brightly flavored on the trees, sweaters, knitting, tea parties! Such a lovely time.

Hope you are doing well!! Love love!

It's been bizarre weather over here. Almost summer 2 weeks ago, then the dust storm. Last weekend was cold and pouring and last night we had hail! I once had a humane mouse trap and caught two mice. We walked down to the end of the road to release them and no sooner were they free, two crows swooped and picked them up! Sometimes, your time is just . . UP!

Such beautiful flowers in the photos, Pam. I'm wishing I could experience another spring so soon as our summer wasn't very hot this year. Be sure to get out in that sun every day.
