"If you took away everything in the world that had to be invented, there'd be nothing left except a lot of people getting rained on" - Tom Stoppard. I for one, would like to express a whole lot of gratitude for the rain. Don't mind being rained on at all.."Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it"-William Arthur Ward.
"In relation to others gratitude is good manners. In relation to ourselves, it is a habit of the heart and a spiritual discipline" - Daphne Rose Kingma.

...and for anyone who's ever tried to break through difficult circumstances, remember "luck favours the bold".

So glad your parched part of the world is getting some relief. We have rain today too. I makes everything reviving from a LONG winter come alive and look so fresh!

Enjoy the rain...sometimes it's a good thing, as you know. We're just starting spring here....enjoy your fall.

"Luck favors the bold!" I shall have to remember that the next time I'm the "fool rushing in...."

Isn't it amazing where a plant can grow!? I hope you are getting the needed rain to lessen the conditions of your drought.
I picked you for a meme of the moment if you are so inclined. Info is at my blog.

Oh, nice photos, and thanks for your visit. Evidently I put you on my blogroll awhile back but neglected to visit!

I must have liked what I saw...

I am so very glad you are getting rain. I hope it continues to fall on your thirsty land.

I always love it when it rains. Edward however, does not share my opinion one little bit.

Rain is definately a good thing when the land is as dry as yours. Hope you get enough to make a difference but not a flood.

So glad the rains have returned to your landscape. Drought is so frightening.

I never mind the rain either ... though I do complain after a lot of it, mostly I love the sound and the beauty of it.

Grateful for you way around the world, writing and sharing your life with us. Thank you!

After any dry spell, rain is glorious. This past week Toronto has been deluged with rain except for one sunny day (yesterday). Today it poured with gusty winds assisting with all the wee new green leaves popping out everywhere, soon to be followed with blossoms.
